January 2014 ITS Meeting Minutes

The January ITS meeting was held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at 9:30 AM in the GSHS Auditorium. The meeting was lead by Gibson Southern Theatre Director Adam Bledsoe.
First, attendance was taken. Every absence from an ITS meeting is counted as unexcused unless and email is received. After two absences, the ITS member in question will be put up for review of removal from the troupe.
ITS fees are $40 and are due by the end of January. They can be placed in the theatre box in the office with a name and the words “ITS Fee” or can be paid for online.

It was announced that there will be a mandatory work day on Saturday, January 11 from nine to noon for all ITS members unless a note from a parent with a legitimate reason is received by Friday.

ITS State will take place January 24th-26th at the University of Indianapolis. The cast of “The Marriage of Bette and Boo” will be performing.

The main characters of the spring musical, “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” will be singing the national anthem at the Evansville Icemen game on February 28th. If anyone else in the cast would like to sing, they will be required to pay for tickets, but the tickets will be available at a discounted price.

New York City goers who sold Pampered Chef products should see their account balance changed. Turtle orders are due at the end of the month and everyone who sells them will be required to help make them at LeeAndrea’s Sweet Treats in Princeton. The turtles will be ready by Valentine’s Day. Twenty scratch-offs were made available for free after the meeting, but any others will cost $10. Each scratch-off section is anywhere between a quarter and three dollars.

How to Succeed cast members will be required to see Wicked on February 8th in Memphis. Musical fees are also due at the end of January.
